SAVANNAH – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating an Aug. 9 shooting in the 5600 block of Betty Drive that left one adult male with gunshot wounds.
At 1:46 a.m. SPD officers responded to the scene based on reports of a shooting. Upon arrival officers discovered the wounded victim. He was given medical aid and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020 or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
