SAVANNAH –Savannah Police detectives are investigating a May 7 shooting in the 500 block of West 40th Street that left one adult male with serious injuries.
Officers responded to the scene at around 11:45 p.m. based on ShotSpotter reports. Once there, they discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical aid was provided, and the victim was transferred to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020.
