SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Jan. 4 shooting in the 1800 block of Waters Ave that left one adult male with a non-life-threatening injury.
Officers responded to the scene at around 11:50 p.m. based on a ShotSpotter report. While investigating the scene SPD was informed that a gunshot wound victim had arrived at St. Joseph’s/Candler hospital seeking medical assistance. Investigators determined the victim was likely tied to the earlier ShotSpotter report.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
