Savannah – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Sept. 8 shooting in the 1100 block of W. Bay St. that left one adult male with a non-life-threatening injury.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 10 p.m. based on a ShotSpotter report. Shortly afterwards the victim arrived at Memorial Health University Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his ankle. It was determined that both incidents were connected.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
