SAVANNAH – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a July 12 shooting at the 1200 block of E. President Street that left one adult female with a non-life-threatening injury.
At around 1:20 a.m. officers responded to the 1200 block of E. President Street for a report of gunfire. A road rage incident resulted in a vehicle shooting at another vehicle, and one occupant, an adult female, receiving a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was treated and released from Memorial Medical Center.
A suspect vehicle was stopped by GSP, and a weapon was recovered. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with info should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020.
