SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a March 24 shooting in the 1300 block of Chester St. that resulted in the death of an adult male.
SPD responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 7:20 p.m. Upon arrival on scene, officers discovered the victim in critical condition. Life-saving measures were immediately initiated by officers and EMS, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
