UPDATE (January 23, 2023): Ashley Scott, 26, was identified as a suspect in this case. She was apprehended on Jan. 19 by US Marshals and SPD. She was booked into the Chatham County jail on a charge of aggravated assault.
SAVANNAH, GA (August 29, 2022): Savannah Police detectives are seeking to locate a female suspect from an Aug. 20 shooting that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to another adult female.
Ashlee S. Scott, 26, is wanted on charges of aggravated assault in connection to the shooting.
Around 1:30 a.m. Aug. 20 officers responded to Broughton and Whitaker streets to reference to a shooting and discovered a 25-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds. She was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified Scott as a suspect. Detectives believe the shooting was the result of an earlier altercation between involved parties.
