SAVANNAH, GA (July 22, 2022): Savannah Police Department’s detectives have arrested a suspect in a July 21 shooting on Robinson Circle that resulted in the death of one man and the injury of another.
James Dwight Dean, 30, was booked into the Chatham County jail on July 21 on charges of murder and aggravated assault.
Around 1:10 p.m. officers responded to the 5400 block of Robinson Circle for a shooting and discovered two victims. Dominique Richardson, 33, died as a result of his injuries. Isiah Foust, 20, was transported to Memorial Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Following their arrival on scene, officers quickly identified Dean as a suspect and took him into custody. According to an initial investigation, the three men had been involved in a verbal altercation prior to shots being fired.
The incident remains under investigation.
