SAVANNAH, GA (February 1, 2019) – The Savannah Police Department Robbery Unit detectives are requesting the public’s help in identifying an armed robbery suspect in an incident that occurred Jan. 15.
Around 3 p.m., officers responded to the Parker’s located in the 1900 block of East Victory Drive in reference to an armed robbery. Shortly before officers’ arrival, a suspect entered the business, brandished a firearm and demanded money out of the cash drawer from the counter clerk. The clerk complied, and the suspect fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 50s and standing approximately 5-foot-9. The suspect had a thick black and grey beard with multiple moles across his face. During the incident, he wore a grey knit cap, grey gloves and a black jacket.
