SAVANNAH — The Savannah Police Department is pleased to announce a badge pinning and promotion ceremony to be held on June 20, 2025, at the Coastal Georgia Center Auditorium in Savannah, GA. The ceremony will commence at 1:00 p.m.
This event will honor 11 newly initiated officers and a lateral recruit, and recognize the achievements of 14 officers who have earned promotions within the department. The badge pinning ceremony is a significant milestone, symbolizing the commitment of our new officers to serve and protect the community. The promotion ceremony recognizes the hard work, leadership, and dedication of our existing officers as they take on new responsibilities. We will also be acknowledging our 10 new Community Service Specialists who were recently sworn in as City Marshalls.
Members of the media and the public are invited to attend. There will be opportunities for photographs and interviews with newly pinned and promoted officers following the ceremony.
