SAVANNAH – The Savannah Impact Program (SIP) in partnership with Peach State Health Plan is presenting a “Spring Fling Health Fair” at Temple of Glory Gymnasium on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. At this free public event, different vendors will come together to provide the entire family with health assistance on a day of care and fun.
Children will be able to enjoy bounce houses and live music. Pediatric health screenings will be provided through Curtis Cooper Primary Care. Mental health sessions will also be provided, as well as a fresh produce giveaway to 100 families. There will be hotdogs, hamburgers, and refreshments available.
Health insurance groups such as Peach State Health Plan, Wellcare, and AmBetter Health will meet with the residents they serve. Live agents will be able to get attendees registered for insurance, answer any billing questions, and share information about the providers on their plan. Additionally, child support services through the D.A.’s office will be available for those looking to get their license reinstated.
Media are encouraged to attend. For more details, contact SIP Program Coordinator LaToyia Daniels at LaToyia.Daniels@savannahga.gov or 912.525.2780.
