SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department responded to a March 28 shooting in the area of E. Gwinnett St. and Paulsen St. that left an adult female and an adult male with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers responded to several ShotSpotter alerts in the area at approximately 1:50 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered ballistic damage to several parked vehicles and buildings, as well as an adult female victim with a gunshot wound to her hand. She was transported by EMS to Memorial Health University Medical Center. A short time later, a second victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg arrived at the Memorial Health University Medical Center.
