Savannah – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Sept. 18 shooting in the 700 block of W. 57th St. that resulted in a fatal injury to a male juvenile and non-life-threatening injury to an adult male.
At approximately 3:36 p.m., officers responded to a shooting. They discovered both victims, one of whom was an unresponsive juvenile. EMS responded and transported them to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment, where the juvenile ultimately succumbed to his injury.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
