Savannah – The Savannah Police Department is investigating an Aug. 20 shooting near the intersection of W. 38th St. and Harden St. that left one adult male with a non-life-threatening injury to the leg.
At approximately 11:20 p.m., officers responded to the scene based on ShotSpotter reports and immediately began to canvas the area. The victim was found near the scene and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment. Investigators also discovered ballistics damage to property in the area.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020, or submit an anonymous tip through the SPD mobile app.
