Savannah – The Savannah Police Department is investigating an Aug. 7 domestic shooting that left one adult female with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Officers arrived at the scene at 9:05 p.m. based on reports of a shooting. The victim was determined to have been injured following a domestic altercation in which the shooter had fled. She was treated and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center.
After an initial investigation SPD investigators secured a warrant for the arrest of Tibias Alston, 24, in connection with the shooting.
