Girl Connection was established in 2024 by the Savannah Impact Program and Officer Jhamiyah Davis of the Savannah Police Department. Officer Davis envisioned empowering young women in the community as a way to combat the rising crime rates affecting them.
Recognizing the need to reach this younger generation, she aimed to guide them toward positive paths and protect them from negative influences. With support from Program Director Ms. Daniels, local school counselors, and community partners, Officer Davis has been able to identify and connect young women who would benefit from the Girl Connection Program.
The program focuses on uplifting and mentoring these young women, helping them build a strong foundation for their futures.

To be the leading and most trusted resource in the community, empowering young women by guiding their educational journey, uplifting their potential, and providing invaluable mentorship.
Mission
As we deepen our engagement within the community, we will provide essential resources and emotional support to young women, fostering character, confidence, and self-esteem as they grow into strong, empowered young adults through meaningful community partnerships.

Applications
Girl Connection is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for girls in elementary school, as well as for young women ages 12-18. Those applications can be found here on this page:
