SAVANNAH – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Dec. 10 hit and run that resulted in the death of an adult female.
At around 6 p.m. officers responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck at 36th Street and Skidaway Road. The victim was located, provided medical assistance, but succumbed to her injuries. The vehicle involved did not remain on the scene.
