SAVANNAH (Dec. 20) – Savannah Police Detectives are investigating a Dec. 19 shooting in the 500 block of West 54th St. that left an adult male with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
SPD responded to a ShotSpotter report at around 8:15 p.m. and discovered the victim. The victim was treated and transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in critical, but stable condition.
SPD is currently following up on leads and the investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made. Anyone with info should call CrimeStoppers, 912-234-2020.
