SAVANNAH, GA (September 22, 2015): Violent Crimes detectives of Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department arrested a man for striking two people with a vehicle while driving aggressively Monday night.
Just before 7 p.m. Metro responded to the 600 block of Emerald Drive, where Trent James Raven, 26, struck Avery Giles, 25, and Dennis White, 27, with a Nissan Xterra. The victims and the suspect engaged in a altercation prior to the collision.
Raven was taken into custody at the scene. Giles and White were transported to Memorial University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect and the two victims were acquainted prior to this event. Investigators believe the incident was intentional.
Raven is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of criminal damage to property.
