SAVANNAH, GA (June 5, 2015): Two women have been arrested and a man is being sought after a confrontation at a Derenne Avenue convenience store led to a shot being fired early this morning.
No one was injured.
Brittni Reevaughan Davis, 20, and Atecia Karen Dreissen, 29, have been charged with battery and criminal trespass and Dreissen also was charged with fighting in a public place, affray after the incident at CHU 2 on Derenne Avenue at Bull Street at 1:06 a.m.
Violent Crimes detectives also are trying to identify a black male wearing a white shirt with a short haircut who reportedly fired a shot and then left the scene.
The two women had entered the store and approached two female clerks, one of whom they knew from a previous dispute.
During the confrontation, the two women began damaging property. A male who had arrived with them and tried to intervene was confronted by the suspect being sought, who obtained a gun from a car and fired a shot.
