SAVANNAH, GA (November 16, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating the events leading up to a gun discharge that injured a woman near the 5600 block of ACL Blvd. on Sunday.
At about 12:17 a.m. Metro responded to the scene finding C’Asia Richardson, 31, suffering from a non-life-threatening graze wound. EMS treated Richardson at the scene.
Richardson was reportedly driving south on ACL Boulevard when she drove around two slow-moving vehicles. A suspect in one of the vehicles fired at Richardson’s car as it passed, resulting in her injury.
Investigators are now looking for a navy blue, newer model SUV, with a black and white paper tag and tinted windows.
