SAVANNAH, GA (March 2, 2015): Saturday, March 7, the Animal Control Division of Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department will host its winter clinic, to include Micro chipping, rabies vaccinations and nail trimming for cats and dogs.
The Winter Rabies Clinic will take place from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the animal shelter, at 7211 Sallie Mood Drive, behind the Humane Society.
Rabies vaccinations and nail trims are available for $10 each. Micro chips, including lifetime registration, will be available for $20. Cash and check payments will be accepted.
Animal Control officers will be on hand to help handle the cats and dogs. All dogs brought to the clinic must be leashed or kenneled. Those prone to biting must be muzzled. Cats must be brought in carriers.
The center also will be open at 11 a.m. for pet adoptions.
