SAVANNAH, GA (August 21, 2013): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police robbery detectives are looking to the public for help in identifying suspects who stole a watch from a south side jewelry store August 13.

Two males entered F.P. Wortley Jewelers in the 8100 block of Abercorn Street about 1:15 p.m. and asked to look at the watch. Then, one of the suspects grabbed it and the two ran from the store. They left in silver Chevrolet Malibu with a South Carolina tag.

Both suspects are tall, thin black males in their late teens or early 20s. The one who stole the watch was wearing a red shirt, green shorts and an orange cap. The other was wearing a white button-up short sleeve shirt, black pants and a University of Alabama cap.

The watch was a gold and stainless Rolex with diamonds on the face instead of numerals.

Anyone with information on the case, the identity of either suspect or the location of the watch is asked to call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020 or text CRIMES (274637). Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.

A confidential Tip Line also is open directly to investigators at (912) 525-3124.
