Mabry, who has been living at 107 W. Liberty St., died about 2:15 a.m. in the fall from the six-story Bryan Street Garage. He lost his balance while he ran on the rooftop ledge on the north side of the building. He was declared dead in the lane between the garage and the Holiday Inn Express.
Two men and a woman who were with him at the time told Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police he was running on the ledge while they were skateboarding on the top level. An off-duty SCMPD officer discovered the body after checking noises from the lane.
