UPDATE 1: The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department has secured an arrest warrant for James Willis Brown, 46, in conjunction with a fatal hit-and-run Sept. 5. Brown is being charged with vehicular homicide in the first degree and hit and run. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts should contact the SCMPD tip line by dialing (912) 525-3124. SAVANNAH, GA (September 6, 2016): The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded to a fatal accident hit-and-run accident at approximately 6:30 p.m., Sept. 5, near the intersection of Meding Street and McKenzie Place.
Dyquan Glover, 19, was riding a red motor scooter southbound on Meding Street when he was struck from behind and killed by an unknown driver in a white Chevrolet Silverado traveling the same direction.
The suspect vehicle was later located abandoned at East 57th Street and Guatamala Street.
