TIU Investigates Two-Vehicle Crash Involving a Pedestrian
SAVANNAH, GA (March 31, 2019) – Savannah Police’s Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating a two-vehicle crash that seriously injured a pedestrian yesterday afternoon.
At around 5 p.m., Richard Adams, 49, driving a Ford Econoline Van, was traveling south on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard approaching 44th Street. At the same time, Kevin Paul, 26, driving a Dodge Charger, attempted to cross Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at 44th Street from east to west. Paul failed to yield causing Adams to strike Paul’s vehicle, which rotated and struck a 57-year-old pedestrian, Felicia Jackson.
Jackson was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The TIU continues to investigate this crash.
