SAVANNAH, GA (September 9, 2015): A citizen’s tip to Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police led to the arrest of three teens for multiple residential burglaries on Savannah’s Southside last Friday.

Metro’s Southside Precinct investigators identified a 14-year-old female and two males, ages 13 and 15 as the suspects responsible for five residential burglaries near Whitfield Avenue from Aug. 31 to Sept. 3.

A tip led police to a residence on Lucas Drive where one of the males was temporarily living. With consent, officers searched the premises and found the two male suspects in possession of electronics reported stolen in the burglaries. Investigators later learned of their female accomplice.

The three suspects were arrested and charged with 5 counts of burglary.

SCMPD recovered most of the stolen property.
