SAVANNAH, GA (February 6, 2019) – The Savannah Police Department will be releasing a weekly Top 10 Most Wanted list in an effort to get the community’s help locating the agency’s most profound offenders.
The flyer, which will be updated on the SPD website and social media accounts each Wednesday, will show photos of the 10 most wanted subjects and the charge they are being sought for. The flyers will be updated to reflect arrests.
The new page dedicated to the Top 10 is available at savannahpd.org/mostwanted. There will also be links on the page where the public can search for sex offenders by location or name.
“We believe this will be a great resource for our community members and will hopefully result in some voluntary surrenders of these subjects,” Chief Roy Minter said. “The community has been asking ‘how can we help?’ Help us by calling in tips about the subjects as well as tips about what you are seeing around the city.”
Anyone with information on the subjects or with tips on crime in the community is asked to contact the SPD Violent Crimes Tip Line at (912) 525-3124 or CrimeStoppers at (912) 234-2020.
