SAVANNAH, GA (June 25, 2019) – Savannah Police’s Traffic Investigation Unit is seeking Robert Lee Frails, 62, as a person of interest in a June 15 hit-and-run crash on E. 37th Street.
About 8:45 p.m. officers responded to the 1100 block of E. 37th Street where they discovered Terry Coleman, 52, suffering from serious injuries. An initial investigation revealed that Coleman was pushing a grocery cart west on the north side of E. 37th Street when he was struck from behind by a gold vehicle. The impact resulted in Coleman and the grocery cart striking a parked vehicle.
The vehicle involved in the crash was later identified as a 1998-2002 gold in color Toyota Corolla. The vehicle was later located, and Frails was identified as a person of interest. He was last known to reside in the 600 block of W. 37th Street.
