SPD Seeks Information on Shoplifting at Savannah Mall

SAVANNAH, GA (October 29, 2018) – Savannah Police’s Southside Precinct detectives are seeking information on a suspect and vehicle used in a shoplifting incident at Savannah Mall earlier this month.

On Oct. 8, officers were dispatched to Burlington after a customer left the store with a cart of unpaid for merchandise. He was described as a black male who was about 5-foot-9 and 180 lbs., and was wearing a black shirt, red pants, a red cap, and grey and white Nikes.        

An employee at the store captured photos of him loading the stolen merchandise into a white Nissan Xterra. The license plate on the vehicle was also stolen.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the vehicle is asked to contact Southside detectives at (912) 351-3403. Information can also be forwarded to CrimeStoppers at (912) 234-2020. Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
