UPDATE (September 10, 2021): Today, David Brohawn, the suspect in the June 15 homicide of Regner Arce, was arrested by the Pooler Police Department on an unrelated charge. Brohawn was transported to the Chatham County Detention Center and served his warrant for murder and aggravated assault.

David Brohawn, 50, is sought on charges of murder. Brohawn is homeless and may still be in the Savannah area.

SAVANNAH, GA (June 30, 2021) – SPD Violent Crimes detectives are investigating after a 56-year-old Savannah man died as a result of a June 15 attack on Victory Drive.

Officers responded to the 1900 block of E. Victory Drive around 7:45 a.m. June 15 and discovered Regner Arce, who is homeless, suffering from injuries from an apparent altercation. Arce was transported to a hospital, where he died on June 25 as a result of his injuries.

The case is being investigated as a homicide.
