SAVANNAH, GA (February 28, 2020):  Savannah Police Violent Crimes detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding three shooting victims that arrived at local hospitals around the same time yesterday evening.

At around 8:40 p.m., officers responded to Memorial Hospital on report of an 18-year-old male shooting victim that was transported there by private vehicle. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury.

At around 9:00 p.m., officers were notified that another shooting victim arrived at the hospital by private vehicle. This victim is a 29-year-old male, and he received a non-life threatening injury.

Shortly before midnight, officers responded to St. Joseph’s Candler Hospital in response to a 23-year-old male shooting victim who was transported to the hospital by private vehicle with a non-life threatening injury.

Detectives believe these cases are linked but are still investigating. Detectives also have not been able to confirm any of the crime scene locations indicated by the victims. Due to these being active investigations, the victims’ names will not be released at this time.
