SAVANNAH, GA (February 25, 2018) – Southside Precinct detectives need the public’s help identifying a group of males who were involved in an auto theft from a Middleground Road convenience store in January.

Around 7:15 p.m. Jan. 16, the victim parked her 2013 Kia Soul at the gas pumps at Chu’s, 12000 Middleground Road, and left the keys in the vehicle while she went into the store. When she came out, an unknown black male in a green hoodie was driving her vehicle from the store. Another vehicle, which later was determined to be stolen out of Chatham County jurisdiction and occupied by three black males, pulled up and made comments to her before driving away. The Kia Soul was recovered on Jan. 18 on Old Mill Road.

Some of the suspects involving in the case were captured on surveillance footage in the store prior to the incident.
