SAVANNAH, GA (August 28, 2014): The Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) for Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police is investigating a wreck that claimed the life of a Savannah man Wednesday night.
The wreck occurred at 8:39 p.m. at West Montgomery Cross Road and Indigo Road on Savannah’s southside. Investigators say 48-year-old, Clamont Graham of Savannah, was traveling westbound on Montgomery Cross Road, and attempted to make a left turn onto Indigo Road on his 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 motorcycle. At the same time, Angela Bush, of Savannah, was traveling eastbound on Montgomery Cross Road, also approaching Indigo Road, when Graham turned into her path and was struck by her 1997 GMC Jimmy
Graham was transported by EMS to Memorial University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
This is an ongoing MAIT Investigation.
