SAVANNAH, GA (September 18, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Robbery Unit is investigating an incident at a Savannah restaurant that ended with a suspect firing shots at an employee Thursday night.
The incident happened just before 8:30 p.m. at IHOP on the 1800 block of Victory Drive. The suspect entered the restaurant where he snatched an undisclosed sum of money from an employee. While fleeing, the suspect displayed a firearm and shot at a different employee. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a black male standing 5-10 to 5-11 and weighing 150 pounds. He is clean shaven, with a slender face and dark skin tone. During the incident he wore a green and tan camouflage trucker’s hat, green and tan camouflage t-shirt and black jeans. He was last seen running toward Victory Manor Place.
