SAVANNAH, GA ( June 24, 2011) One man is dead and two more are in the hospital after a shooting on Savannah’s Westside.
Around 1:15 p.m., a man showed up at Memorial University Medical Center (MUMC) suffering from a gun shot wound and had very serious injuries. Within minutes dispatch received a call about a shooting in the 400 block of N. Baldwin Circle. Officers found two men shot in the house. Kevin Moore, 21, was deceased, another man was shot and suffering from life threatening injuries and was transported to MUMC by EMS.
Detectives are still attempting to piece together exactly what happened in the house. A search warrant was obtained. The house and the vehicles in the driveway were searched.
Suspect information is not available at this time. Two children were observed being carried away from the scene. They were present at the time of the incident.
They are currently safe with their mother.
