SAVANNAH, GA (April 13, 2015): Violent Crime detectives are investigating the shooting of a Savannah man during an argument in the Midtown neighborhood this afternoon.
Central Precinct patrol officers from the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department responded about 12:15 p.m. to reports from the ShotSpotter system to find casings and blood at the edge of a fenced yard on the 600 block of East 38th Street.
Quinton Clark III, 34, had been transported by private vehicle for treatment of an injury that appeared to be non-life threatening at East 38th Street and Atlantic Boulevard.
Detectives are investigating reports that Clark had intervened in the argument between the shooter and another male when he was shot.
