SAVANNAH, GA (September 1, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Islands Precinct detectives ask the community’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing credit cards from a victim’s purse at her work place located in the 4700 block of Waters Avenue on July 22.
The unidentified man made several purchases on a credit card taken from the woman’s purse. Detectives have obtained surveillance images of the man exiting Target after attempting a purchase of over $700. The suspect also utilized one of the victim’s credit cards at a gas station the same day.
The suspect is described as a white male of average height and weight, possibly in his 20s or 30s. During the incident he wore a black hat with a light colored emblem, grey shirt, white in color shorts and sneakers.
