SAVANNAH, GA (April 7, 2016): The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police’s Robbery Unit is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at approximately 10 p.m., April 6, near 44th Street and Barnard Street.
The three victims were packing a moving van when two armed suspects approached them and demanded money.
The suspects are described as two black males in their late teens or early 20s with a slim build. Both are between 5-foot, 10-inches and 6-feet tall. One was reportedly wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, with the other wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
Following the robbery, the suspects fled the scene on foot heading northbound on Barnard Street near 44th Street.
