SAVANNAH, GA (November 10, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes detectives are investigating a shooting that injured a teen in the early morning hours of Nov. 10.

Metro responded to St. Joseph’s Hospital at approximately 3 a.m. for a reported shooting that took place in an unspecified area of Ogeechee Farms. The victim, Alexander Chiesi, 17, arrived at the hospital in a privately owned vehicle seeking care for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Reportedly, he and some acquaintances were displaying firearms with each other. Shortly after, he was walking down an unknown street when he was shot.

Detectives did not locate a crime scene.

This incident remains under investigation.
