Assistant Chief of Police Robert Gavin congratulated the Explorers saying, “This is truly what it’s all about- impacting the youth in a way that they become better leaders and citizens. You all showed exemplary leadership and that’s something to be congratulated.”

Post Adviser Sgt. Max Nowinsky praised the work the Explorers have done so far saying, “There is no doubt that our post will continue to be successful and grow throughout the next year.”

The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department offers the police exploring program for our community’s youth. The objective of the program is to offer teenagers and young adults (ages 14-20) an opportunity to experience hands-on engagement and learning experiences with law enforcement professionals.
