SAVANNAH, GA (December 2, 2020) – Savannah Police Southside Precinct detectives are asking for the community’s help identifying a suspect in an ATM damage to property case.

At approximately 4 a.m., Sunday, November 29, a male, driving a silver Jeep Cherokee, drove up to an ATM located in a shopping center on E. Derenne Avenue. The male then attempted to gain access to the ATM using various methods such as prying the ATM open, causing significant damage. After the male was unsuccessful in his attempt, he fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged, white male. He wore a black hat, black shirt, and tan coat during the incident.
