Savannah Police Seek Identity of Suspect in Box Trailer Theft

SAVANNAH, GA (July 2, 2018) – Savannah Police Eastside Precinct detectives are seeking the public’s help identifying a male suspect who stole a box trailer on June 9.

The theft took place at Savannah Metal Works on the 100 block of Estus Drive. The business’s camera footage captured a black male in a black pickup truck drive into the parking lot and attach a white box trailer to the vehicle before driving off.

The trailer is described as a white 6X12 Empire Cargo box trailer with Georgia tag, TR98Z50. The trailer has slight damage to the left side.

The suspect is described as an adult black male. He wore a green shirt, light colored pants, dark shoes and a hat during the incident.
