SAVANNAH, GA (May 28, 2014): The Animal Control Division of Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department will host its spring clinic on Saturday, which includes microchipping, rabies vaccinations and nail trimming for cats and dogs.
Rabies vaccinations and nail cutting are $10 each. Microchips with lifetime registration are available for $20. Cash and check payments are accepted.
Animal Control officers will be on hand to help handle the cats and dogs. All dogs brought to the clinic must be leashed or kenneled. Those prone to biting must be muzzled. Cats must be brought in carriers.
The spring clinic will take place from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the animal shelter, at 7211 Sallie Mood Drive. The shelter also will be open at 11 a.m. for pet adoptions. Adoptable pets can be viewed in advance at adopt-a-pet.com.
