SAVANNAH, GA (June 9, 2015): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan seek the public’s help in locating and identifying the suspect who robbed a Savannah store of an undisclosed sum of cash last week.

Tuesday, June 2, at 11:09 a.m., Metro responded to Family Dollar on the 4600 block of Skidaway Road. Investigators learned that an armed gunman entered the store, ordering employees to empty the registers. He made off with an undisclosed amount of money. A T-shirt covered the lower half of the suspect’s face during commission of the crime.

The suspect is described as a black male, age 18 to 25, standing 5-8 to 5-10. During the robbery he wore a white T-shirt, black shorts and a baby blue Polo ball cap and black Nike Air Force One sneakers.
