SAVANNAH, GA. (November 8, 2013): Quick reactions by residents and Islands Precinct Patrol officers led Thursday to the arrest two men and a juvenile attempting to burglarize a residence.
Residents in the area noticed the trio kicking in a door on Avalon Drive, alerted police to the crime and advised on their location after they entered a car and drove to another area.
Responding Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police were able to saturate the area, surround the car and take the occupants into custody within minutes.
Arrested were Solomon Gibbons , 21, Joseph Odom, 22, and a 16-year- old juvenile. All three were on probation at the time and have been charged with two counts of criminal attempt at burglary.
