SAVANNAH, GA (July 28, 2015) – In one week the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police and Savannah and Chatham County neighborhoods will join forces for the 32nd annual National Night Out.
Members of the SCMPD Command Staff, Precinct Commanders, Crime Prevention Officers, Patrol Officers, Civic leaders and McGruff the Crime Dog will be visiting nearly every participating neighborhood on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Many of the neighborhoods are gathering at nearby community parks or community centers.
Metro Police officers will be offering crime prevention tips to the thousands of people who will take part in the neighborhood events.
