Update: Metro is attempting to identify the victim involved in a serious crash, Monday morning. The unidentified woman was not carrying any identification. She is further described as a black female of a brown complexion. She is approximately 5 feet 2 inches and around 120 pounds. During the incident she wore blue jeans and an orange tank top over a green tank top.

SAVANNAH, GA (March 14, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Major Accident Investigations Team responded to a serious wreck involving a pedestrian and a vehicle, Monday morning just after 7 a.m.
An unidentified female pedestrian was reportedly running between southbound and northbound lanes of traffic, for an unknown reason, on Ogeechee Road. Roosevelt Smith, 83, was traveling in the left southbound lane when his vehicle, a Honda Civic, collided with the female pedestrian.
The unidentified woman was transported to Memorial University Medical Center in critical condition. She is described as being a black female possibly in her early 20s. She was wearing blue jeans and an orange tank top over a green tank top.
This is an ongoing MAIT investigation.
