ONE PERSON HAS BEEN CHARGED AFTER A HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

SAVANNAH, GA (October 14, 2010): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police have charged a woman with hit and run after she left the scene of an accident that sent one man to the hospital.
Just after 4:00 p.m., Nathaniel Ervin Daughtry, 57, was riding his bicycle northbound on Montgomery Street in the right lane when he was struck in the rear by a green 2001 Toyota Tundra truck that left the scene.
TheToyota Tundra and driver, Naomi Reid Brown, 53, were located.
Mr. Nathaniel Ervin Daughtry was transported to Memorial Health Medical Center where he is listed in serious, but stable condition.
Naomi Reid Brown was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing.
