Metro, SERFTF Nab Fugitive Wanted from Penn

LAWRENCE COOKSAVANNAH, GA (February 12, 2016): Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police and the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force of the U.S. Marshals Service apprehended a fugitive wanted for rape (armed) and terroristic threats Feb. 11 in the zero block of Arrowhead Court.

Lawrence Cook, 31, was wanted for arrest out of Pennsylvania and is also a person of interested in several incidents in the Savannah area. Cook was located by SERFTF along with a K-9 unit while attempting to hide inside a residence on Arrowhead Court.

After being taken into custody, Cook was transported to the Chatham County Detention Center where he awaits extradition.
